“BENTONITE” JSC, town of Kardjali has traditions of many years in mining and processing of industrial rocks and minerals. It was established in 1951 on the basis of asbestos, mica and trass and several years later some more minerals as pegmatite, talcmagnesite, bentonite, perlite, zeolite and limestone were included into the production.
During 1989 the company was reorganized into “Bentonite” Ltd. and in 1998 after privatization it was registered as “Bentonite” JSC.
A number of products with a broad spectrum of applications are produced in the company nowadays.
