Founded in 1981, today ALCOMET AD is the leading Bulgarian producer of aluminium rolled and extruded products. Over the past 30 years the company has successfully developed itself as one of the major aluminium producers оn the Balkans and has gained recognition as a reliable partner on both foreign and domestic markets.
The plant is located on an area of 370 000 sq.m. in the town of Shumen about 100 km from Bulgarian Black Sea port of Varna.
The company employs 760 highly qualified employees devoted to meet customer’s requirements and expectations.
ALCOMET’s product portfolio includes:
-Cast round billets and cast strip in coils
-Cold rolled sheets, strips and foils
-Extruded profiles, pipes and bars
-Anodized and painted profiles and sheets
The annual production capacity of the casting shop is 78 thousands tons, of the rolling mill - 36 thousands tons
and of the extrusion shop - 17 thousands tons.
