The canning factory “Peltina” Ltd. if situated in the town of Iskar, Pleven district, 30 km in the northwest direction from Pleven in the region with intense developed growing of fruits and vegetables. The factory is a private enterprise since 1998 and is heir of the “Pelovska conserva” Ltd. The buildings and the production lines are entirely reconstructed and modernized. In the period from 1998 to 2002 for the activity of the factory has the home market. The public orders guaranteed up to 70 % of the whole production volume.
Starting from 2002 to 2006 the priority received the international market which now occupies 85 % of the whole produced assortments.
In that way the strategy of the company management is fulfilled
to increase steadily the export and to develop new markets at the expense of the home consumption.
The canning factory “Peltina” Ltd has the all necessary lines and equipments which are typical for the canning food industry and which permit to produce a wide range of fruit, vegetables, meat and vegetables canned foods and ready dishes also according to the recipe of the client.
The production lines are entirely innovated and also new are constructed for the production of assortments for export like: ajvar, ragusa, djuwetch – ready dish.
In the canning factory works a highly educated and qualified staff of engineers, technologists and specialists who have the needed skills to fulfill the production activities according to the requirements of the European Union.
The production structure includes mainly vegetable and ready dish canned foods which are exported to the market of Germany, Bosna-Herzegovina and also includes the traditional canned foods for the home market which are packed in jars and cans of different sizes. For the production is used only very pure natural raw material which respond to all requirements of the ecological standards.
