GEOSEMSELECT Ltd. is the first private company founded in the selection and production of hybrid seeds of tomatoes. The company was founded in 1990 by Prof. Hristo Georgiev, one of the most famous breeders of hybrid tomatoes, with over 60 years experience in this field. He is the creator of the best Bulgarian varieties of tomatoes. His talent has been recognized with dignity and abroad, where he worked for 15 years.

The company owns the 16 hybrid varieties of tomatoes, bred by Prof. Hristo Georgiev, 4 of which - in co-authorship with the Institute of Genetics, BAS. Lines for the production of these varieties are owned and maintained by the company.


Hybrid varieties of tomatoes are created and adapted to our climate. Therefore they are considered extremely well for us in the neighboring Balkan countries. Last 5-6 years earlier varieties of tomatoes to enjoy enviable success in Romania.

In addition to hybrids and direct the company produces varieties of tomatoes, created by Prof. Hristo Georgiev co-authored with Prof. Bistra Atanasova from the Institute of Genetics, BAS - Sofia.

GEOSEMSELECT produce and seeds of hybrid varieties of cucumbers and direct. Also offers a wide range of vegetable seed - peppers, radishes, zucchini, cabbage, melons, celery, parsley, carrots and many other types of seeds.
