CCU is sole owner of 13 cooperative companies – commercial entities which over the last few years have been implementing large-scale investment and product strategies.

CCU is a shareholder of Hanover COOP Bulgaria Insurance Joint-stock Company, Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Bulgaria AD, Sovbulcoop AD and two privatisation holdings – COOP – Yug AD and Severcoop – Gamza AD.

The Central Cooperative Union has been awarded twice with the prize "National structure contributing to the economic development of Bulgaria".

The object of activity of the Central Cooperative Union includes:

* retail and wholesale;
* production of goods;
* international and domestic tourism;
* production, purchasing and processing of agricultural and other products;
* training and qualifications,
* balneosanatorium,
* insurance,
* publishing

and any other activity not forbidden by law.
