More than 10 000 car enthusiasts visited Bulgaria's 2011 Sofia Motor Show on Saturday, the first day of the event.
An unusually high amount of deals were struck on the first day of the spectacular exhibition, the Dnevnik daily said Monday, citing car dealers who claimed this was a clear sign of the Bulgarian car market's recovery.
The attractive discounts announced by many of the dealers have been pointed out as one of the main reasons for the vast interest.
A lot of deals have been made for vehicles still not launched on the market, including some of the new Chinese Great Wall cars and the Land Rover Evoque.
The 20th edition of the Sofia Motor Show located at the city's Inter Expo Center is said to attract industry professionals as well as the general public.
The various manufacturers and dealers of cars and automobile components and accessories; audio-video equipment; car-care products; environment and safety equipment; garage and service equipment; mold and dyes; oil and lubricants; petrol vending machines; tyres, batteries and auto electrical equipment, are involved in displaying a wide range of products and services.
