More than 310 international companies will present new and original solutions in the sphere of modern construction during the 11th edition of "Bulgaria Building Week".
The event will be open Tuesday at the Inter Expo Center in Sofia and will continue until March 12.
The exhibitions will feature not only Bulgarian, but also companies from 30 countries, including Germany, Italy, Turkey, the UK, Greece, Belgium, China, the USA, Poland, Austria and Portugal.
The event will also include the 2nd national conference "BuildinGreen" for sustainable construction and energy efficiency of buildings.
The main topics at the conference will be energy efficiency in existing buildings – policy and strategy, energy efficiency in new construction, and a debate on whether buildings from 2011 would meet the requirements in 2020.
There will also be a discussion on the challenges in front of technologies and whether new projects could get ahead of legislative requirements.
Bulgaria's Minister on Regional Development, Rosen Plevneliev, his deputies Ekaterina Zaharieva and Lilyana Pavlova, Sofia's Chief Architect Petar Dikov, and other leading architects and engineers will participate in the event.
