Bulgarian authorities do not possess any investigative report on Hezbollah's alleged involvement in last year's Burgas bus bombing, according to Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev.
The report that Bulgaria had blamed Hezbollah for the Burgas bus bombing was made by the Israeli TV Channel 2 in the aftermath of Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov's visit to Israel. It was claimed that Mladenov presented a report that confirmed Hezbollah's involvement in the terror attack.
"I do not have a report on Hezbollah. I have not seen such report, I have not received such report," Plevneliev told reporters on Monday.
Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry and Prime Minister Boyko Borisov have already firmly denied rumors that the country has a report implicating Hezbollah in the bombing in Burgas last July.
Plevneliev also confirmed on Monday that the Burgas terror attack will be in the focus of the upcoming sitting of Bulgaria's Consultative Council on National Security on February 5.
