Ravda is a small resort-village situated 5 km from the most popular Bulgarian Black Sea resort Sunny Beach, and 3 km away from the UNESCO protected ancient town of Nessebur. During the winter the population of the village is 2000 people but during the summer season it grown dramatically. The resort is famous for arranging international camps. Ravda is practically part of the location gaining popularity as the Bulgarian Riviera; it consists of many resorts situated 1, 1.5 km from one another: Elenite, Paradise Beach, St Vlas, Zora, Sunny Beach, Ravda, Aheloi. There are 15 hotels, private houses and villas, bungalows, 10 restaurants, 11 taverns and 6 pubs in the resort. Ravda is a calm and quiet resort and it attracts people who are looking for a nice, peaceful vacation. One of its greatest advantages is the close proximity to the must-see ancient town of Nessebar, which also makes Ravda suitable for cultural tourism.
