The main activity of “Struma Metal” AD is production of precise electrically welded straight seam pipes, open and welded profiles made of low-carbon steel. The main sales volume takes place in the warehouse in Kurilo, Novi Iskar District, nearby Sofia ring road.

The produced welded pipes vary from Ø 16 to Ø 60.3 with wall thickness from 0.9 to 2.8 mm. The welded profiles are with square or rectangular section varying from 12 x 12 (20 х 10) to 50 х 50 (60 х 40) with the same wall thickness. The opened profiles are in the range from 15 х 15 to 40 х 40 for angles (L-profiles) and from 20 х 10 to 40 х 30 for U-profiles with wall thickness from 1.0 to 2.8 mm. The standard length of the profiles is 6 000 mm. Depending on the specific order, profiles with length from 4 000 to 9 000 mm can be produced.

The key objectives the company has set, are constantly to meet or go beyond our Clients’ expectations, as well as continuously to increase its market share in Bulgaria and abroad. Currently 40% of the production is exported and 60% is released on the internal market. The trend is the correlation to be in favour of export policy, due to Bulgaria’s membership in the European Union, which has tangibly facilitated the trade within the community.
