STOMANA INDUSTRY SA is a leading steel manufacturer in Bulgaria. In June 2001, SIDENOR SA, Greece, acquired the majority of the share capital of STOMANA AD from EUROMETAL SA (current participation 100%), and assumed responsibility for the overall operation. The transition to the private sector, which constituted a turning point in the company's history, involved a major investment plan aiming at the modernization of the production facilities and the overall restructuring of the company.
