Rodina Аgrо Ltd. was incorporated in 2004 as affiliate of "Rodina Holding" JSC, Popovo, Bulgaria. Its main activity is organic farming and reprocessing (freezing) of organic and conventional fruits and vegetables. Rodina Agro has more than 30 ha organic plantings of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and plums. In 2006 was established the reprocessing (freezing) enterprise owned by “Rodina Agro” Ltd. In the region of Popovo (up to 10 km.) there are farm producers having more than 40 ha raspberries and other fruit and vegetable plantations.
Enterprise is equipped with the most advance guard model of IFQ freezing fluid band tunnel manufactured by FRIGOSCANDIA, Sweden. In the beginning of 2007 the enterprise for fruits and vegetables freezing was one of the first of its kind in Europe and it is certified under ISO 22000 standard.(Certificates)
