The history of the EMTEKS GROUP of companies, comprising BUTD Ltd., EMTEKS Ltd., ЕM ENERGY JSCo. and EMTEKS CONSULT Ltd., goes back to 1996, when the first of them, BUTD Ltd. was established. Its main activity at that time is supply of equipment, spare parts, products and raw materials from the Russian Federation for the needs of Bulgarian companies in the spheres of power generation, mining, chemical industry, etc.

Reviewing past performance and further development prospects, the management of BUTD Ltd. takes a decision to expand its scope of activity by active involvement and participation in the design stage of a project. With this aim in view, an engineering company is created and officially registered in 2004 – EMTEKS Ltd. Highly qualified and experienced professionals are employed in the newly established enterprise – designers in the field of power generation and chemical industry, specialists in procurement of specialized equipment, teams for installation, start-up and commissioning.

Taking into consideration the power consumption increase rates in the region, the forthcoming demonopolization of the power market and the heightened requirements of the consumers in terms of energy safety and efficiency, in 2006 a third company, ЕM ENERGY, is created, focusing on electric power transfer and trade. The beginning of 2007 marks the creation of EMTEKS CONSULT, a company specializing in tax and insurance consultation and defense, accounting services, financial consulting, assistance with European Union funding, auditing, etc.

The goal of the EMTEKS GROUP is to be as close as possible to the end user, to expand its field of competence and improve the quality of the supplied services through realization of high-end projects, delivery of certified production, offering reliable services in accounting and tax legislation, and strict observance of contractual relations.
