Natural zeolites are a group of minerals formed az a result of deformation of volcanic ash in alkaline surroundings.

Natural zeolites have porous crystal structure formed by joined canals in three different directions. Their unique properties are due to presence of free molecules of alkaline metals and water. These properties are ion-exchange capacity with high degree of selection and gases. Their properties can be changed by physical, chemical and heat modification to get products for different branches of industry and economy – from purifying for drinking, industrial and waste water to food for animals, artificial soil and drugs.
