Croatia's EU prospects and ways to boost economic and trade ties with Bulgaria will top the agenda of Prime Minister Boyko Borisov during his one-day official visit to Zagreb on Wednesday.
The Bulgarian delegation includes Minister of Economy and Energy Traicho Traikov and Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov.
The visit comes at the invitation of Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor who herself visited Bulgaria in April last year.
A cultural co-operation agreement until 2013 is to be signed during Borisov's stay in Croatia. Additionally, the visit will see the opening of a Bulgarian-Croatian business forum as well as a seating of the joint commission on tourism.
Bulgaria's Prime Minister is scheduled to confer with Croatian counterpart Jadranka Kosor, President Ivo Josipović, and President of Parliament Luka Bebić.
This is the second high-level Bulgarian visit to Croatia this year. President Georgi Parvanov paid a one-day visit to Croatia on March 21 at the invitation of his colleague Ivo Josipović.
