“You can no longer complain that the city of Burgas gets more help than Varna. There are more than BGN 300 million investments in the city,” Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said speaking during his visit to the coastal city of Varna, Radio FOCUS reported.
The Prime Minister commented further that nothing significant had been done in the city for 30-40 years, which was seen in the needed repair works that were underway on key boulevards in Varna.
Borisov added that there would be repairs on Hemus motorway, too and the construction of the facility would continue.
In Boyko Borisov’s words, Varna can be proud of the newly-opened centre for oncologic diseases and radiation therapy at the St Marin hospital.
“I can guarantee that in two years Varna will feel the difference,” PM Borisov remarked.
