“For several years we lived in the worst financial crisis, the world was shaking. We managed to handle it during our previous mandate,” Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said speaking at the first national discussion within the “Yes! To Bulgarian Economy” held in the capital city Sofia, FOCUS News Agency reporter said.
“When the crisis was gone, Bulgaria drowned. Since December 4 until now we have shared out nearly BGN 3.6 billion to more than 100,000 depositors at Corporate Commercial Bank (CorpBank). The experiment is over, you are aware of the loses, all the suspended EU funds. Briefly, the experiment with Bulgaria being left without EU funds for a year and half should never be allowed again,” Borisov said.
“At the moment, all EU funds are working. You are aware of all eh efforts made at parliament to preserve the flat tax. There are no better conditions for the business in Europe, in terms of tax system, than those offered by Bulgaria,” the Prime Minister remarked.
