Bulgaria's capital Sofia slipped down one spot in the global ranking of cities with hotels with top customer satisfaction.
The rating is published by hotel.info every quarter.
Sofia is 11 with a score of 7.49 out of 10 received by customers themselves.
The respondents evaluate their stay on the basis of fulfilled expectations. They rank from 1 to 10 the hotel room, the noise level, the balance between price and quality, the staff, and the quality of food. These criteria allow some cities that are not included in the top global tourist destinations to get ahead of popular sites.
The rating is topped by Warsaw (7.90), Tokyo is second (7.65), while Helsinki is third (7.64), followed by Bratislava, Talin, Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Zagreb, and Ljubljana, all ahead of Sofia.
Cities like Bangkok, Vienna, Riga, Lisbon, Dublin, Singapore, Bucharest, Vilnius, and Madrid are all behind the Bulgarian capital, ranking 12 to 20 respectively, while Paris and New York don't even make the top 20 list.
