2006 is the year when Abt celebrates its 110th company anniversary. So far, four generations of the family from Kempten have put their heart and soul into the development of the enterprise. Right from the start automobiles have been their keen passion. The anniversary shows that tradition is very important for Abt but future trends are equally significant. This is the only way to keep on the road to success and expand continuously over such a long period of time.

In our headquarters in Kempten, we have developed a structure that enables us to manufacture cars ourselves," explains managing director Hans-Jürgen Abt. With the foundation of Abt Sportsline GmbH in 1991 a new era begins. The name stands for design and technology competence which meets highest quality demands. This is also the reason why Abt Sportsline is official Audi and VW Service Partner. The Abt engineers have taken on the challenge of demanding engines which are constantly being improved as well as the challenge of meeting the changing wishes of their customers. Therefore Abt Sportsline works continuously to develop new technologies which combine improved environmental compatibility, reduced consumption values but also increase the power at the same time. In this connection, the know-how which has been gained over many years is irreplaceable.
