Bulgarian National Bank Printing Works Corpė Business Description
The Bulgarian National Bank Printing Works Corp. was established as a commercial company on December 29, 2001. Until then it had been within the structure of the Central Bank. (The Executive Board of BNB had adopted the resolution for the establishment of the Printing works on August 11, 1994 and since 1996 it started its activity).
Today the company is one of the most modern European printing houses with equipment compliant with the highest standards in technologies, up-to the-minute software and highly qualified personnel.

- Production of securities for state institutions
- Production of protected documents for other clients
The production of the Bulgarian banknotes has been performed through a highly productive line since 1997. Most of the main printing machines, including those not used in the production of banknotes, are unique for Bulgaria, and are possessed only by printing houses of similar class in the world.
