A one month pass for all Sofia public transport lines costs 19 Euros.

Sofia enjoys four different means of public transport, as tram, busses, trolley busses and underground. It covers most of the city from 5 a.m. till midnight.

As of 2002 the trolley transport is running 10 passenger lines of total length of 105.5 km. During weekdays 111 trolley are at work; they are operated by 220 drivers.

The progress in trolley transport was accompanied by the development of the trolley network; the total length of the trolley-network is 93.7 km.

As of 2006 the trolley transport is running 9 passenger lines of total length of 105.5 km. During weekdays 193 trolley are at work.

In 2006 Auto-transport operates 94 bus lines with total length of 2380 km. These lines are served by 554 buses.

As of 2006 the tram transport system has been transporting passengers articulated 17 lines with a total length of 308 km of single track railway, and at an average speed of 12,56 km per hour. During the weekdays 176 trams are at work.

Sofia Underground opened in 1998. As of 2008 there are 10 stations as the construction is still in progress. Full completion of the underground, connecting all parts of the city is announced for 2013.
