Joint stock Company ADVAL, established in 1993 and privately funded, specializes mainly in tunnel construction.
The company was able to integrate the knowledge and experience of major Bulgarian tunnel construction companies in the area of hydro-technical, highway, railroad and metro/subway tunnels. ADVAL is the first company in Bulgaria specializing in tunnel construction according to the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM).
As a partner of European companies and consortiums, ADVAL participates mainly in construction of tunnels in Germany and Spain. The work consists of: drilling, lining, installation of hydro-isolation and inner concrete, anchors, grouting and others.
Since 2008, the company takes part as a contractor in the construction of the Sofia Metro /Lot 2/.
The company has successfully achieved this on more than 50 km of metro/subway, highway, railroad and hydro-technical tunnel projects, including construction of tunnels with cut-and-cover method.
ADVAL utilizes modern equipment for drilling, excavating, loading and hauling, and “wet method” concrete spraying along with the employment of highly skilled explosive professionals.
The leading personnel, technical supervisors and shift supervisors, are trained to work with high tech surveying systems for tunnel guiding. The engineering staff is fluent in English and German, and uses advanced software for tunnel construction.
ADVAL also offers a dedicated division for production of steel structures and assemblies designed for construction projects in Western Europe, predominantly in Germany.
The company manufactures complex structural assemblies and compositions with the help of its experienced professional welders, who are certified and recognized by German welder associations and institutions.
